Remote Inspection Services

Millennium UAV provides inspection services for a variety of different industries.  We own and operate a diverse fleet of UAV’s that can be outfitted with specialized cameras and sensors capable of accommodating simple to complex business requirements. Millennium UAV will work with you to take your project from concept to completion or we can collect the required data desired for analysis by your internal organization.

Faster, Safer and Cost Effective

Remote UAV Inspections offer benefits that can dramatically improve efficiencies across multiple industries.

Quicker Results

Drones can access locations more effectively than traditional inspection methods. Drones can reduce data collection time by up to 60% which puts results in your hands more rapidly

Risk Mitigation

Drones greatly improve worker safety by significantly reducing the human element when performing inspections in high risk situations.

Reduce Costs

Drones provide precise and instant feedback. When time is money, the quicker you can obtain the data, the faster you can react to the situation.

Solar Inspections

With the world demanding less carbon foot print and greener energy, Solar has become the leading resource in trying to obtain that objective. To maintain these assets so they operate at optimal efficiency, constant monitoring and frequent inspection is required.

Drones significantly reduce the time it takes to inspect solar assets. What use to take weeks or even months can now be accomplished in days or even hours. This dramatically improves efficiency by reducing overall inspection time and time it takes to analyze the data collected during inspections.

Whether capturing RGB images for overall site analysis / Planning or Thermal images locating bad strings or individual cells, Drones are revolutionizing how solar farms are inspected, operated, and maintained. They’re making solar site inspections faster, safer, and delivering more accurate reports on the overall health of a site.

Millennium UAV is poised to assist you in managing your solar investment. We have the knowledge and tools necessary to deliver fast, accurate data reports. This allows you “ our customer ” the ability to make more informed decisions and provide a faster response to potential situations.

Cell Tower Inspections

There are an estimated 4 million telecom towers installed throughout the world. With the planned implementation of 5G, those numbers will rise rapidly. Previous inspection methods required “ boots on the ground “ with someone climbing the tower accounting for a lot of man hours not to mention major safety concerns.

Today, Drones have removed most of the human component required to inspect these towers. This has reduced maintenance costs by as much as 60% and dramatically enhanced safety operations for owners who support and manage these assets.

Utilizing UAVs to perform tower inspections provide you with 360 degrees of visibility allowing you to identify and assess potential issues safely from the ground. Data gathered from inspections offer additional benefits when compiled into 2D/3D models which can be used to provide a real-world context for design, construction, operations and inspection workflows.

Roof Inspections

Roof inspections offer a variety of challenges to industries and home owners. Hard to reach locations, hazardous situations and the demand to quickly resolve client claims are challenging enough in itself. Exposing individuals tasked to carry out these tasks to any of the mentioned situations compounds the process further and can lead to unnecessary accidents and inaccurate results.

Drones combat past process issues and deliver today’s solutions. They eliminate the need to place humans in unsafe situations. They can maneuver in places that are to dangerous or just not humanly accessible. The time involved in capturing images for data analysis is far less than the manual method which allows for a shorter turnover time to clients.

Millennium UAV offers a variety of options for Roof Inspections. We can provide standard RGB for visual inspections and combine those into 2D and 3D maps for more detailed analysis. We are also certified in Thermography and can provide detailed thermal data reports to pinpoint potential issues relating to water damage and heat loss.

Structural Inspections

The ability of UAVs to traverse to great heights, maneuver in and around different types of infrastructure while also able to hover in place make them the ideal tool when it comes to inspecting structural entities.

Examining large structures such as bridges, Dams, buildings and other infrastructure types can be extremely expensive, slow and unsafe. Drones can delivery cost effective practical solutions to just about every inspection scenario.

Our commercial grade drones outfitted with professional grade cameras and sensors can provide high clarity images that can help detect flaws human eyes may tend to miss. Utilizing thermal imagery we can go beyond visual capabilities and detect potential issues such as energy changes in roof tops and around windows, pinpoint potential structural integrity issues related to ” Thermal Bridging”.

Structural Inspections present many challenges. Implementing UAV technology into your project plan can drastically improve efficiencies and help you deliver cost effective solutions.

Construction Site Inspections

The construction industry is fast, furious and extremely competitive. They live and die by production. From start to finish the goal is to deliver the project quickly and get it done correctly. Whether you are managing a single project or multiple locations, time management is critical.

Gathering the right information is crucial to planning. From the beginning site analysis, property surveying and continued progress monitoring, receiving constant and accurate updated information will allow for better planning and decision making which will contribute to a more efficiently run project.

The benefits of using UAVs for the construction industry are many. Below are a few examples.
  • Pre Site Analysis and Surveying: Gain aerial imagery to better plot out dimensions and grades. Limit survey time with less (GCP) required while covering more terrain in less time.
  • Real Time Safety Application: Frequent site monitoring can spot potential problems before they turn into unwanted accidents or worse.
  • Complete Asset Management: Constant monitoring can provide real time detailed status information, instill investor confidence, reduce manual inspections and provide detailed actionable information for project managers.

Drones can greatly contribute to the overall success of your construction project. They can reduce the overall time it takes to perform many of the steps throughout the entire project.

Powerline Inspections

Maintaining the vast network of Transmission and Distribution lines in the US is a monumental task. The industry is constantly under pressure to provide safe, effective, reliable power throughout the areas in which they service. Achieving that requires power sources and delivery systems be operational 24/7.

Unfortunately, there are forces in play that make that a challenge. Catastrophic weather conditions, faulty equipment, poor installations and regulation all contribute to potential outages and chaos for those who depend on this service.

Inspections of our Power line infrastructure are mandated by NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) in North America and are not optional. They are expensive to the rate of thousands of dollars a day if provided by helicopter. They also inherit greater risk for crew and equipment due to the nature of their work.

Drones are now changing how these inspections are performed. They significantly improve safety of operations, They are far less expensive to operate, They are capable of providing high quality images ( RGB and Thermal ) to spot potential issues before failure. They can deliver crucial data in real time so Engineers and Repair Teams can react to situations in a quicker manner.

With regulations now shaping the spectrum in which UAVs operate, implementing BVLOS ( Beyond Visual Line of Site ) will play a major role for NA power industries. Being able to survey 10/20 miles of power lines in a single inspection will provide tremendous value in maintaining reliability for our energy infrastructure.
